Despite the Amber weather warning Rhuthun travelled to Bro Ffestiniog on the night of Friday 25th October expecting a physical battle in horrendous conditions. A huge team effort saw them control the game throughout and came away with a convincing 17 - 5 win. Nathan Jones was on form with his boot kicking an early penalty and two conversions. Early injury to Sion Donnelly was a blow as he's been outstanding since breaking through into senior rugby in September. However he was replaced by the in form Robat Lewis who came on and made a big physical impact. Tries came from Jack Wilson and Nathan Jones and great to see Huw Parry back in the 1st team and bringing with him a wealth of experience into the backline. Coach Eifion Lewis Roberts was happy with the result and extremely pleased of the commitment shown by the players in travelling away to Blaenau on a Friday night and getting the job done.
