Tackle ‘n’ drive, tackle ‘n’ drive!

Over 5 games of fast and furious rugby our team gave a fantastic display of just how far they've come this year.  2 on 1 tackling, no limit to the number of tackles, 10 minute games, tackles below the armpits, 7m offside line at the restart - all changes from our normal rules that our team contended with superbly.

Up against teams from Shrewsbury, Whitchurch, Bridgnorth, Stafford and Cobra we consistently took them on with direct running, strength in the offload and some great final passes to score some truly wonderful tries that had supporters from all sides on their feet and celebrating.

Rich, Ali, Myself and all of the parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters and relatives that watched our team were REALLY proud of the team performance and great attitude on Sunday! What was also great to note were the comments from many other coaches and parents about how well our team tackled.

Bridgnorth proved worthy winners overall, a team with whom we were very evenly matched and just ran out of time to beat before the final whistle!
